I want to share this wonderful recipe for no bake pumpkin pie dog treats.
I simply love no bake recipes that you can whip together with ingredients you have around the kitchen. Especially if they are yummy and nutritious as these treats.
These pumpkin pie dog treats are super easy, so you can make them together with your kids. I think it’s a great activity that shows compassion and an opportunity to explain about pet nutrition to young kids.
My little girls are used to feeding our dogs home cooked but still they enjoyed listening to me explaining about the benefits of each ingredient.
The mixture you get from this recipe is a bit gooey at first so you can also use it as a Kong filler or pill hider.
These pumpkin pie balls are great to sooth nausea and tummy cramps as they contain ginger and fiber. Plus, they provide protein, available energy (calories from fat) and beneficial nutrients. Look at the end of the recipe for the complete nutritional information.
